Music + Arts Studio hosts Kirk Whalum from Archer Records: Posted August 14, 2008 World renowned saxophonist Kirk Whalum recently mixed tracks for his new CD/DVD release "The Gospel According to Jazz, Chapter III" at Music + Arts Studio in Memphis. Filmed and recorded before a live audience in the Baltimore/DC area, Chapter III features Kirk along with favorites George Duke, Lalah Hathaway and Doc Powell. Engineer/producer Hal Sacks mixed in both stereo and 5.1 on the API Vision console for the CD/DVD release-- which is scheduled for distribution the fall of 2008.
