 | Archer's Music+Arts Studio Mixing Craig Brewer's $5 Cover from Archer Records: Posted January 9, 2009 by John Miller Archer Records' Music + Arts Studio has begun work on the audio mixing for Craig Brewer's latest project, "$5 Cover." The MTV-backed program finished filming last year and features Memphis musicians, actors, venues, and various assorted characters in a world rooted in the trials and triumphs of the artists themselves. Renowned producer and engineer Kevin Houston has been busy working on the project, which is the latest in a series of successful collaborations between Brewer and Music Director Scott Bomar. Kevin is also being assisted with additional sound recording and mixing by Archer's own in-house engineer Chris White. Final sound mixing is being done in both stereo and 5.1 for the series that MTV will first release online in individual "webisodes."
